Soups On

This is a really nutritious, low cal soup and very tasty due to all of the veggies. Lettuce is delicious cooked in soups. If you don't want it too thick, reduce the pasta to 6 oz. I keep this on hand for lunches and snacks.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans chicken or beef stock
  • 2 cans water
  • 2 TBS soy sauce
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 3 carrots peeled and cut in rings
  • 4 stalks celery cut in medium slices
  • 1/2 head of romaine lettuce - cut up
  • 1 TBS onion flakes
  • 1 tsp garlic flakes
  • 1 packet any dry onion soup mix
  • 8 oz of fettucini

Instructions

  1. Bring liquids to a boil and add all of the ingredients
  2. Bring to boil - reduce to simmer for about 15 minutes
